Mr. Parvesh Mittal is a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from M S University, Vadodara. He has also completed his Master’s Degree in Management from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 1992. Mr. Mittal has 32 years of rich experience in Project Management, Project Execution, Engineering, Procurement, Site Construction and Commissioning of Power projects.
He started his career in 1984 with NTPC where he worked for 14 years. He held responsible positions in detailed engineering, project management and served as STA to Director (Technical). Thereafter, in 1998 he joined Siemens Power Engineering Ltd. (SPEL), Gurgaon.
Prior to joining L&T, Mr. Mittal was working as General Manager - Head of Project Management - Power Projects, South Asia for SPEL, and was based in Germany.
His major career achievements have been managing multi-disciplinary and international teams to deliver Power projects in a competitive business landscape.
During his tenure at L&T, he has worked in L&T Howden as Chief Executive; as well as Project Director for Buxar Thermal. Before joining Howden India, as Managing Director, he briefly worked for Orascom in Egypt.
