Mr. Satish Palekar, Executive Vice President at Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T), heads the CarbonLite Solutions business under the L&T Energy segment. With a distinguished career spanning over four decades, he has played a pivotal role in transforming the erstwhile L&T Power into CarbonLite Solutions – a unit focused on low-carbon offerings and enabling energy security in the transition towards clean energy.
Since joining L&T as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in 1983, he has navigated a dynamic career marked by diverse responsibilities. From serving as Chief Executive of L&T-Valdel to leading the Supply Chain for Hydrocarbon - Offshore, he has played a significant role in executing numerous landmark projects. Over time, he rose to head Offshore’s Oil & Gas Business before assuming leadership of the erstwhile Power business in 2022.
Mr. Palekar is a graduate in Chemical Engineering from ICT, Mumbai, and has completed his management studies at Mumbai University. He has also pursued professional development courses at Oxford University and Harvard Business School as part of his leadership mentoring within L&T.
